Gaza – Proving unity of blood and soul between the Palestinian and Lebanese people, the armed wing of Hamas, the Qassam Brigades, on Sunday was not satisfied with mere deprecation of the IOF troops’ massacre in Qana, but coupled words with action as they rattled the Israeli Sderot settlement with three rockets in revenge to the massacre.
In a military communiqué issued by the Brigades and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC, the armed wing asserted that its fighters successfully rocked the Sderot settlement, northeast of Gaza Strip, with three home-made Qassam missiles, in which, the “Israeli enemy” acknowledged two casualties..
The Brigades also unleashed one of their Qassam missiles against IOF troops’ positions in Nahal Oz.
The armed wing of Hamas affirmed in the communiqué that the missile attack was in retaliation to the IOF crimes in Palestine and Lebanon, particularly the Qana massacre that occurred at dawn Sunday.
More than 58 Lebanese civilians, the great majority of whom were children and women, were buried under the rubbles when Israeli warplanes dropped and unleashed their heavy bombs and missiles at a residential building and leveled it to the ground.
All of the victims were evacuees fleeing the Israeli bombarding of their villages and towns, and later settled in that building.
For their part, the Quds Brigades, armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, and the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, armed wing of the PFLP, jointly claimed gunning down an IOF soldier, east of the Maghazi refugee camp.
Hamas, in a show of solidarity with the Qana victims, invited the Palestinian people in the tiny; yet, densely populated Gaza Strip to partake in the march it will organize Sunday afternoon.
Tens of thousands of Hamas’ supporters and sympathizers as well as ordinary Palestinian citizens were expected to participate in the protest rally.
In Bethlehem city, the Doheisha refugee camp witnessed a massive demonstration in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistances, and in censuring of the ugly IOF carnage in Qana town in Lebanon.
Islamic Movement in Palestine wants Israeli officials prosecuted as war criminals:
The Islamic Movement in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands (southern wing) urged the international community to be brave enough and free itself of the American dominance, and prosecute Israeli premier Ehud Olmert, his war minister Amir Peretz, and IOF chief of staff Dan Halutz before international courts for the series of crimes against humanity they have committed in Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
The movement further induced the Arab and Muslim Ummah to officially and popularly act to “rescue the Arab and Muslim dignity” that the USA and Israel had stepped over for decades.
