IOF troops shoot Palestinian old man

Jenin - The 72-year-old Palestinian man, Afif Mohammed Zakarna, was wounded at dawn Thursday during an IOF incursion into his Jenin village to the north of the West Bank, local sources reported.

They said that IOF troops opening intensive fire at civilians during an incursion into Qabatia town hit the old man in his leg.

The sources noted that IOF patrols roamed the streets of the town, south of Jenin city, and broke into and ransacked many homes.

Meanwhile, IOF units stormed at an early hour Thursday Jenin city and its refugee camp only to be met with stiff resistance on the part of young men defending their homes.

In Abu Da’if village, east of Jenin city, locals said that 14 IOF patrols burst into the village and searched several homes before retreating without arresting anyone.
